Hitachi Consulting won the ‘IT Initiative of the Year’ Award with South West Water at the Utility Week Awards 2017 in London.
The award recognizes the use of modern IT systems to help a business achieve its aims. The effective use of information technology (IT) by utilities is essential to providing the high service levels customers have come to expect while containing costs.

More than 1,400 people from the utility sector attended the Bollywood themed gala dinner and awards ceremony, which was hosted by actress Joanna Lumley. This year’s awards received a record number of entries and were judged by a leading panel of independent experts.
