Hitachi XBRL Controller
Internal Reporting Applications and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance
Hitachi XBRL Controller is a server-based product suite for internal reporting applications, accounting integration, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. At the heart of the Controller is the XBRL-GL data integration solution: XiRUTE Journalizing Engine. Today's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) are best suited to this solution.
XiRUTE Journalizing Engine
XiRUTE Journalizing Engine is a server-based software that uses XBRL-GL as a common API to facilitate data exchanges between internal data stores, business application systems, and accounting / financial systems. The XiRUTE Journalizing Engine can work with all legacy systems, whether they are running on mainframes, minicomputers, UNIX servers, or Windows-based PC servers. To extract data from legacy systems, Hitachi works with end users to develop custom add-on logic for the XiRUTE Journalizing Engine.XiRUTE Journalizing Engine Product Brochure

Xinba® XBRL Reader and Analyzer
Xinba is a desktop-based Microsoft Excel add-in that gives users the capability to import, open, and manipulate XBRL financial information directly in Excel. With Xinba, users can examine and analyze XBRL financial data and generate customized financial reports. Xinba uses Web Services to access the taxonomies and the instances which can either be stored locally, over a network, or on the network. Xinba runs on all versions of Microsoft Excel – 2000, XP, and 2003.
Hitachi XBRL Reporter External Financial Reporting, Benchmarking, and Analysis
Hitachi XBRL Reporter is a server-based product suite for external financial reporting, benchmarking, and analysis. At the heart of the Controller is the XBRL FR data processing solution: Hitachi Business Reporting Processor.
Hitachi XBRL Reporter includes a variety of related products for comparison and other data manipulation functions, such as desktop tools for custom data mapping, tagging, and analysis.
Hitachi Business Reporting Processor (HBRP)
HBRP is server-based middleware for processing XBRL documents efficiently. (Middleware is a conversion or translation layer of software that enables one application to communicate with another.) It consists of an XBRL Data Object Model (DOM) engine with Java API’s; the use of XBRL DOM objects masks the complexity of processing XBRL documents.
HBRP is designed to run on J2EE compliant Application Servers or in standalone mode.
Processing Kit for XML
HBRP, with the use of the Processing Kit for XML, can be deployed without requiring a J2EE compliant Application Server.
XiRUTE Library for Microsoft .NET
An alternative to HBRP, XiRUTE Library for Microsoft .NET offers a Microsoft .NET development environment. It is used to build applications to interpret XBRL data. Easy-to-use XiRUTE Library for Microsoft .NET requires little XBRL and XML development knowledge and includes a Basic Module, Converter Module, Validation Module, and Viewing Module.
