A place where you can be yourself.

I had three main priorities during the recruiting process at Texas: People, challenge and change.

I wanted to be at a company that gave me the opportunity to work with intelligent people who worked hard to achieve objectives and enable me to grow professionally. At Hitachi Consulting I found sharp, intelligent and down-to-earth people that were very focused on being one team.

I also sought a working environment that allowed me to expand my horizons and to continue building my knowledge. Hitachi Consulting has allowed me to both build on the knowledge I gained in college and challenge myself to learn new skills.

I had learned from my internship experiences during school that change and variety were important to me. Working in a traditional nine-to-five position with a routine workload was not an option. Hitachi Consulting offers a dynamic, project-based structure that provides ample opportunity to work with different clients, teams and locations.

At Hitachi Consulting everyone wants each other to succeed and works to make that goal a reality.

I was nervous about my first project as a new consultant with Hitachi Consulting, where I would be working as a developer for a major airline. I was concerned that I was being put into a sink-or-swim situation. But all of my doubts were erased when I met the architect to whom I would be reporting.

She helped me develop both the technical and business skills I needed to complete the project, and I could always rely on her for career guidance and constructive feedback. She always made time for me to improve my abilities and grow as a consultant.

I was unsure exactly what I wanted to do with my computer science degree during the recruiting process at school. At Hitachi Consulting I have already been exposed to many different technologies and project roles, something I think would have taken years in industry.

I was confident in a classroom setting, but was nervous about applying that knowledge in a "real world" job setting. My Hitachi Consulting co-workers made me feel supported and guided on every project I have worked so far. I have never felt stranded.

Hitachi Consulting promises to help its employees succeed. In my experience, they live up to that promise.

As a new college graduate with very minimal real-world experience, it is difficult to find a company with a truly welcoming culture. At Hitachi Consulting, not only do they create a comfortable and close-knit atmosphere, but they also provide you with the necessary formal training, advisors and mentors you need to become a great asset to the team.

Hitachi Consulting offers career planning along with invaluable work experience that can't be emulated any place else. A well structured professional path coupled with the ability to actively participate in several community and social initiatives, makes Hitachi Consulting a well rounded employer and the best decision for an ambitious new graduate. Joining Hitachi Consulting was the second-smartest decision I have ever made, only behind going to college.
