Mitchell D. Simon
Senior Vice President, Microsoft Dynamics Practice
Mitchell Simon is senior vice president for the National Dynamics practice in the U.S. In this role, he is responsible for business development, strategic account development, and managing the delivery team.
Simon's depth of experience spans many different industries, such as Financial Markets/Banking, Real Estate, Public Sector (State & Local), Nonprofit, High Tech, Distribution, Construction & Engineering, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Gaming, and Health Care. Simon has lead many projects on a global basis, assisting with Enterprise or ERP based solutions and implementations.
Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting, Simon was a partner for IBM's Global Business Services group operating specifically in the Business Consulting division. He was responsible for supporting the Oracle business applications practice for the Western United States. With a strong technology focus, Simon was responsible for supporting Oracle's eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft, and the JD Edward's technologies. Prior to IBM, Simon was a partner at Arthur Andersen in its Business Consulting group. In addition, he was the global leader for the JD Edwards alliance for Arthur Andersen. Simon worked at both Arthur Andersen and Andersen Consulting for a combined 23 years.
Simon holds both a bachelor's degree in finance and a masters of business administration degree, with an emphasis in Professional Accounting, from the University of Southern California. Simon is also a CPA registered in the state of California.
