Mike Driessen
Executive Vice President, U.S. Geographies and SAP Practice
As executive vice president for Hitachi Consulting’s U.S. Geographies and SAP Practice, Mike Driessen oversees regional consulting operations throughout the United States as well as the SAP Practice. He previously worked with the company’s national teams and individual market leaders to ensure better enterprise-wide resource management, knowledge sharing, and consistent application of operations infrastructure (e.g. methodology, competency model, recruiting). As managing vice president for Hitachi Consulting's SAP practice, he is responsible for overall client satisfaction, employee developement and welfare for all SAP projects. Driessen has been in management and consulting for 20 years. He spent eight years in the manufacturing and distribution practice at Andersen Consulting and Accenture before joining Grant Thornton in 1994. He is one of the original founders of Hitachi Consulting and a member of Hitachi Consulting's Board of Directors. He has a strong background in business-driven IT strategic planning, systems integration, business process and supply chain reengineering, software selection and ERP implementation for small, mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. His industry expertise spans consumer products, industrial manufacturing, high technology, chemicals, oil and gas, and wholesale-distribution. Driessen graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in business administration from Marquette University.
