Liem Vu

Managing Vice President, High-Tech Products

Vu is the managing vice president for Hitachi Consulting's High-Tech Practice. He formerly was in charge of the Pacific Southwest and Northwest markets where he was responsible for all personnel, strategy, client activity and financial performance for the region. He is also a member of the firm's Operations Leadership Team.

A results-driven veteran of the consulting industry, with close to 20 years of consulting experience, Vu has held a number of leadership positions and has served Global 2000 companies across many different industries in the U.S., Asia and Europe. He has been involved in a wide range of complex business transformation, systems integration and application implementation projects across front and back office operations. He has served in a number of roles for global organizations throughout the years, progressing from software developer/analyst to project and program leader and project strategist and visionary.

Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting, Vu spent more than 15 years in the consulting industry. Most recently, he served nine years at KPMG Consulting (now BearingPoint) where he was partner/managing director for national CRM solutions. In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy throughout the U.S. and Europe, across multiple industries.

Vu earned his bachelor's degree in information and decision systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
