George Ort
Executive Vice President, U.S. Management Consulting
George Ort is executive vice president for Hitachi Consulting's Management Consulting Group which includes the firm's industry practices. He previously was in charge of the Rocky Mountain and Midwest markets, responsible for all personnel, strategy, client activity and financial performance for the regions. He is also a member of the firm's Operations Leadership Team, reporting directly to the president and CEO.
Ort has more than 20 years of sales, marketing, and education experience in the telecommunications industry, earning nearly 18 years of that experience at AT&T and its affiliated companies. He also has seven years of direct consulting experience in the areas of finance systems, information technology, business intelligence and business process improvements.
Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting in 2002, Ort was a partner at Arthur Andersen, LLP. He led and grew their business consulting practices for Denver-based technology, media and communications companies.
Ort earned a BBA in marketing and an MBA in accounting and finance from Georgia State University.
