David Rodman
Executive Vice President, U.S. Technology Solutions
As executive vice president of U.S. Technology Solutions for Hitachi Consulting, David Rodman oversees the strategic direction of all technology solutions, including Oracle, SAP, Lawson, Microsoft (platform and Dynamics) and its offshore center. Previously Rodman was group managing vice president of strategic alliances. Prior to that, he was responsible for the firm's Oracle practice. During his first three years in that role, he elevated Hitachi Consulting's relationship with Oracle and grew revenue in the practice by 300 percent and headcount by 250 percent. As a result of Rodman's leadership, both the market and Oracle Corporation recognize Hitachi Consulting as a premier business consulting provider. The firm is a Certified Advantage Partner, the highest level designation attainable, for both Oracle applications and technology. Rodman has more than 20 years of consulting experience in information technology and business process improvement and a strong background in enterprise applications (e.g. ERP implementations), supply chain management, business process improvement, cost reduction and IT strategic planning. Since joining Hitachi Consulting in July 2002, Rodman helped grow the Pacific Southwest market by more than 110 percent, providing sales leadership in his role as go-to-market leader. Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting, Rodman spent 14 years with Arthur Andersen in various client service and practice leadership roles. He was responsible for the firm's Global Oracle practice, a position he held from 1998 through 2002. He also had P&L responsibility for the firm's Pacific Southwest market from 2000 through 2002, a group that generated approximately $65M in revenues with 290 people. Rodman started his career with Accenture, and spent nearly four years there prior to joining Andersen. Rodman earned a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in economics from the University of Cape-Town in South Africa. He sits on the Oracle North America Partner Advisory Board and the board of a Los Angeles-based charitable organization. He is also an avid golfer.
