Field Services for Construction and Specialty Contractors

Our Field Services software helps specialty trade contractors such as service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical engineering, and plumbing equipment complete service orders accurately and efficiently. Scheduling features such as Best Fit and Route Optimization are especially helpful for companies in residential construction for which dispatch is critical. When those urgent calls come in, these scheduling optimization features help to ensure that the most qualified service person is dispatched to the site.

Construction and Specialty Contractor companies that work in commercial service have a set of unique requirements that our Field Services application supports:

• Service location and bill-to location. Often, with commercial services, the actual job site is different from the billing address. The solution tracks both locations.
• Task lists. Tasks can be set up to remind field workers to capture readings and diagnostics of service objects.
• Service history. Field workers can view the service history of a location or service object, including readings and diagnostics, from the field.
• Preventive maintenance. Companies can create templates for preventive maintenance on service objects. Templates can include pricing policies, tasks, and constraint dates and times.
• Skill level. With the resource management features, construction firms can track labor resource skill levels and set preferences for skill levels for service locations.
